I have been a lifelong Leupold customer, but have also accumulated other makes as needed. I recently commenced on an update on an old friend (a Marlin 56 Levermatic – .22LR), which had a Simmons “22 MAG” 3-9×30 on it – a WalMart special. It worked fine,, but now, I wanted something better than a “big box store blister pack scope for $49″, but I also didn’t want to drop $800+ on a 45x Leupold Competition scope.. I’m no cheapskate by any means, but I prefer to keep the scope price commensurate in regard to the rifle value. So I paid a visit to the rimfirecentral forum, and after reading the various scope reviews, the consensus was quite favorable in regards to Mueller, and as it was in my budget and had features I was looking for (see below), I decided to purchase one.

this is a graet scope even on my hard hitting .300 win mag.

I have this scope mounted on a custom .300 win mag with a hart varmint tapered barrel and I tactical style custom made wood stock. after about 100 rounds of 220 grain hornady eld-x handloads at max charge I still have had no problems with this scope. it tracks perfectly when making adjustments. it will return to zero when you come back to it. the only problem I have is amazon doesn’t send a receipt that you must have for returns. I liked this scope enough I had one show up today for a savage mark II trr-sr and one arriving tomorrow for my daughters KIDD custom rifle. the saddest part is the made in china sticker on the box!! I have had their tactical model scopes in the past and was well served by them. they tracked equally as well and always returned to zero. I just wish they was made here in the good old U.S. OF A.!!!

To be made in China this is as good as any American made scope

To be made in China this is as good as any American made scope, I have it on an AR 10 308 caliber and no matter how many shots it is still on zero. I checked feed back on it before I purchased, there was 50 reviews and 49 were positive, that made my mind up, great on the 308 on long shots, got a coyote at 175 yards and he did not move. The 168 grain bullet with the scope doing its job was quick clean kill.

Fantastic scope for the money.

Great buy for the money. While the glass may not be as clear as a $1,000+ rife scope, it is still wonderful for target use. The turret clicks are positive and repeatable. The fine target crosshair is exactly what I was looking for. Your sight picture stays crisp and clean throughout the entire range of magnification. Fantastic scope for the money.

Would be a good scope at 3 times the price!

I like it! Have it mounted to an AR15 for working up handloads. I like it better than my Weaver T36 ($500+) target scope. Eye relief and clarity seem to be slightly better than the Weaver (and the Weaver has a reputation as one of the best). Once sighted in, I do not adjust windage and elevation, so cannot judge accuracy and repeatability of “clicks” (not my area of interest), but, strictly as a target scope, it is excellent!

Was not impressed

Took scope to range. On my savage model 12 223. Eye box very small at 32x . Target at 200 yds did not look very clear no matter how i tried to focus

Smithy bore sighted and blocked scope with a one inch riser. First shot at 100+ yards was 3/4 inch to the left. ( didn’t need my spotter scope to see where round hit ) compensated and next three were in black. Best scope I have ever owned. This is mounted on an AR sport withe elongated brake. I have quite a bit of experience with military, not as comparable but very nice.

Best brand on a real world budget.

Exceptionally clear glass, solid construction, pretty firm & precise adjustments, the dot is extremely tiny almost to small for my usage in predator hunting BUT it’s sold as a target scope not hunting so no minus points. Mounting on a Rem. 700 adl 25-06. I paid $204.00 I’ve paid more for less scope. If you’re looking for the best scopes on a budget then know I researched for over 2 years & kept coming back to Mueller, they have MANY scopes between $100 & $200 and many have illuminated dot/crosshair & mildot models.Lifetime warranty & great customer service. You won’t beat their scopes for the money. My choice came down between this Mueller & the Bushnell banner 6-18×50, both are produced in China, this Mueller was MUCH clearer and felt better constructed.

One of the better lower end scopes
